Pidurangala Rock Hike – Where Adventure Meets the Golden Hour

04:00 PM -You will be picked up by your own chauffer guide and with his private vehicle and transfer to Pidurangala. (pickup is available from Sigiriya, Dambulla, Habarana).

04.30 PM – You will be starting the hike at the meeting point.

The adventure begins with a scenic walk through the peaceful forest, followed by a visit to the ancient Pidurangala Royal Cave Temple, adding a touch of history and culture to the hike. As the climb continues, the trail becomes more exciting, passing through natural rock formations and leading to the final ascent towards the summit.

Arriving at the top in the evening rewards visitors with a breathtaking sunset view, where golden rays illuminate the forests, villages, and beautiful landscapes below. For the best experience, arrive at the summit around 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM (depending on the season)

07.00 PM – on completion you will be taken back to your hotel.
