Kandy City Tour – Explore Sri Lanka’s Cultural Capital

09.00 AM -You will be picked up your own chauffer guide and with his private vehicle for exploring Kandy sightseeing.

You will be driven to Giragama tea plantation.

09.30 AM - Discover the fascinating journey of Ceylon tea from leaf to cup. Guests can tour the tea factory, observe the tea-making process, learn about traditional tea production methods, and enjoy tasting freshly brewed Sri Lankan tea while taking in the beautiful plantation scenery.

11.00 AM – On completion proceed to Peradeniya botanical garden.

Sri Lanka’s largest and most beautiful botanical garden, featuring a vast collection of tropical plants, orchids, and towering trees. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walks through its lush landscapes and admire its rich biodiversity.

12.30 AM –Visit Bahirawakanda Buddha stature that is known as big Buddha is one of the most scenic places in the city.

13.30 PM – Lunch at a local restaurant (payment direct by guests).

14.30 PM – Visit the iconic Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic which is Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist temple, housing a sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major spiritual and cultural landmark in Kandy.

16.00 PM – Do an Upper Lake Drive in Kandy, a scenic journey around the iconic Kandy Lake built by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1807.

Along the way, enjoy beautiful city views and visit traditional mask shops, gem galleries, and souvenir stores, making it a memorable cultural and shopping experience.

17.00 PM – witness the Kandyan cultural dance show.

The Kandy Cultural Show is a vibrant performance showcasing traditional Sri Lankan dance, drumming, and fire acts. It offers a colorful glimpse into the island’s rich Kandyan heritage and cultural traditions.

18.30 PM – You will be drop-off to the hotel.
